fashion designer Victoria Beckham has reportedly hired celebrity interior designer Kelly Hoppen to decorate their house in London.
“Victoria loves Kelly’s taste and knows she can trust her to do the best job. Kelly is well-known for working with block, neutral colours — shades of beige, cream, white and grey — and creating a calming, harmonious atmosphere,” mirror.co.uk quoted a source as saying.

Posh frets over Becks’ next move

Victoria Beckham is reportedly worried about the “strain” of maintaining a long- distance marriage if David signs to a club outside Europe.

The English footballer star is currently considering his next career move, after receiving offers to join clubs in countries including China, Russia and around Europe.
Victoria is apparently concerned about what will happen if he signs a deal with a far- flung club.

“Vic thought leaving LA would be the last upheaval and says she came back to the UK with visions of them being together — not for him to fly to the other side of the world,” a source told Closer.

“She’s extremely supportive of his career, but doesn’t want the pressure of a long- distance relationship. They work hard at their marriage and she hates the thought of him working away.”

BECKHAM’S SON TAKES PART IN TRIAL AT CHELSEA London, Jan. 23: David Beckham’s eldest son Brooklyn has had a trial with Premier League giants Chelsea, according to reports in the British media on Wednesday.

The 13-year-old reportedly took part in an under-14s match at the European champions’ training ground in Surrey, southeast England on Tuesday.

Former England captain Beckham, who has been without a club since leaving the Los Angeles Galaxy at the end of last year, was pictured at Chelsea’s training base in a photograph that emerged on Twitter.
Beckham, 37, has previously played for Manchester United, Real Madrid, the LA Galaxy and AC Milan, and won 115 caps for England, which is a national record for an outfield player.

He is yet to make an announcement about the next destination in his footballing career.

Brooklyn is one of four children that Beckham has had with his wife Victoria, the pop star turned fashion designer, along with Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

Victoria to open a shop ...

The Spice Girl has chosen the location for her new London boutique, just a stone’s throw from the luxury department store in Knightsbridge.

Victoria, 38, also appears to have been inspired by the Sunday night TV drama Mr Selfridge as she plans to make the shopping experience entertaining in its own right – just like the American entrepreneur Harry Selfridge did when he launched Selfridges in OxfordStreet in 1909.

An insider close to the retail project said: “Victoria is in the process of buying a 9,000 sq ft store in Knightsbridge and she’s already designing what it will look like inside.

“She has short-listed two top interior designers and has been interviewing them to decide which one to hire.

“She is really excited and ambitious about the whole project. It’s a dream come true for her to be opening her own fashion store in London.”
She is keeping the exact location of the shop secret but it is known to be within a few hundred yards of Harrods. The pop star-turnedfashion designer is said to have taken inspiration from the upmarket Prada store in Los Angeles which has a glass floor with mannequins underneath.

Victoria has told the interior designers she wants lots of glass, crystal and mirrors in her shop.

Also, she doesn’t want people to just walk in from the street – she wants them to make an appointment before turning up.

Our insider added: “Victoria’s big idea is to have a style bar where her customers can get some expert advice and tips from her team of fashion designers.

“Separate to that will be a champagne bar where the customers can relax and unwind and not feel stressed by shopping.”

While Victoria’s husband David has been planning the next move in his football career after leaving LA Galaxy, Victoria has been busy designing her own fashion clothing range.

But this is her first foray into the retail trade. It is thought the Beckhams decided to return from the USA with their three sons to set up home in London, largely due to Victoria’s shop plans.
